Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing
EMDR therapy uses bilateral stimulation, typically eye movements to help clients process traumatic memories in a way that can be less distressing. EMDR helps clients strengthen positive internal belief systems and decrease emotional distress associated with traumatic memories.
